The Las Vegas Raiders are committed to keeping their star players, and here are three more they should extend after reaching the deal with Darren Waller.

The new Raiders regime, led by head coach Josh McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler, has made it a point to give big extensions to some of the key Raiders players who helped lead the team to the playoffs playoffs for the first time since 2016. .

One of the first orders from the new Raiders front men was to give breakout star Maxx Crosby a massive extension that ties the fan favorite to the Raiders for the next half-decade. This is a great sign of a new regime. The evaluation of the players and their reward for the continuous hard work are noticed in the locker room.

After the whirlwind of free agency that elevated the Raiders to contender status, the Raiders locked down the face of the franchise, Derek Carr. Carr had the best year of his career and showed his knack for being a top quarterback when things are going well. McDaniels and Ziegler were clearly supportive of Carr from the start and locking him up lends credibility to a new regime.

Carr is a locker room favorite and the leader of the team and after returning to the playoffs all trade rumors had to be put to rest. The Raiders then granted an extension to Pro Bowl wide receiver Hunter Renfrow, one of Carr’s best friends and a breakout player in 2021. The Raiders still have room to give extensions to key players and Darren Waller is the most logical. Waller wants a new contract but is unlikely to get one this year.

Therefore, let’s see who else can get an extension.
